Validare Marquee

Non riesco a validare il tag marquee e relativi attributi


Questo è il mio codice

<marquee direction="up" style="width: 160px; height: 30px;" scrolldelay="60" scrollamount="1" align="center">

</marquee>

e questo è quello che mi dice il validatore (HTML 4.01 Transitional)

there is no attribute "SCROLLDELAY".
there is no attribute "SCROLLAMOUNT".
there is no attribute "ALIGN".

come possosistemare?

Se non ricordo male il marquee non era valido con W3C, a me me lo ha sempre segnato come errore.

Ci sono diversi script js per simulare quel tag, basta cercarlo in rete (o anche qui nel forum).

Si anch'io ricordo che il tag maequee non è possibile validarlo per gli standard W3C

A me viene validato il bottone di AlterVista.

Dipende dal funzionamento dello script. Ci possono essere script che generano il testo da scrollare (e quindi non viene letto il contenuto dagli spider) oppure script che scrollare del testo, per esempio, incluso in un div (e quindi viene letto il contenuto dagli spider).

ma con l'html 4.01 ti viene validato? a me da un problema il

Oggi dovevo fare la stessa cosa per la home del mio sito!
Purtroppo il famoso script dhtml mi andava in conflitto con la shoutbox e altri provati in giro chi per un motivo chi per un altro non andavano bene!
Alla fine ho risolto in modo "sporco"
