problemi connessione FTP (era "sono stanca..")

ciao a tutti....
nn ne posso piu'. dopo vari tentativi per pubblicare il mio sito....adesso ricevo l'errore:

2) Increase the connection timeout threshold under Global Settings | Connection.
3) Switch to the opposite data connection type (PASV or PORT) under Site Settings | Type tab.
4) Verify that the problem is not local by trying to connect to an alternate server.
5) If a server name was used, verify it resolves to the correct address.
6) If using a local server table for server name resolution, check to see that it doesn't resolve to an obsolete address.
7) Try pinging the address.
8) If you are using a router, verify the router is up and running (check by pinging it and then ping an address outside of the router).
9) Do a traceroute to the destination to verify all routers along the connection path are operational.
10) Verify that your subnet mask is setup properly.
11) Verify that your local software or hardware firewall is not blocking outbound connections originating from CuteFTP.
12) Verify that your anti-virus software is not at fault (try disabling it).

e nn so' piu' quello che devo fare, un sacco di giorni persi , per favore mi potete aiutare?

nel programma dell'ftp?
usi firewall? che tipo di antivirus hai?

si l'errore me lo da su ftp....
ho il norton antvirus...
fino a ieri la pag me l'ha pubblicava, solo che nn si vedevano l''immagine, ed ero costretta a cancellare,"il mio scopo e' di pubblicare i miei quadri"

Prova a disattivare il norton e vedere se funziona
Per far visualizzare le immagini, devi fare attenzione ai collegamenti che devono essere di questo tipo <img src="http://agar/cartellaimmagini/immagine.jpg>
dove cartella immagini è la cartella dove si trovano le immagini, devi fare molta attenzione a maiuscole e minuscole,scrivere "A" è diverso da scrivere "a"

EDIT: ho dissattivato il norton..... ho controllato le cartelle. tutto ok... purtoppo ftp mi da sempre lo stesso errore ...

sicura che i dati ftp che inserisci sono corretti? http://forum.altervista.org/showthread.php?t=34688
se sei sicura, devi controllare se hai programmi che bloccano la porta 21
Se hai firewall o programmi per la sicurezza su internet, prova a disabilitarli

assicurati che l'ftp sia in "passive mode"

se usi filezilla: modifica - impostazioni - impostazioni firewall - spunta la casellina del passive mode.

ho provato... scusa fino a ieri sera potevo connettermi nelle altre pag...solo le immagine, nn riuscivo a vederli tutti..... perche' adesso questo problema?... ho controllato sembra tutto ok.... io nn ci capisco niente.....

Ti ricordo che esiste anche l'upload via pannello, se non hai files molto grandi può sostituire l'FTP.

In merito però al problema stesso: hai provato ad esempio ad unsare un client ftp diverso? Anche un browser?

Ti chiedo di aprire il prompt di ms-dos ed eseguire il comando:

telnet agar.altervista.org 21

Riportando qui il risultato.

quando ti ridà l'errore, fai quello che ti ha detto gianluca e vedi che risultato da!

Abbiamo confermato che riesci a collegarti al server, mi sembrerebbe un problema di client (anche se cute-ftp è comunemente usato da molti).

Hai provato appunto un altro client? Anche lo stesso explorer?

prova ad utilizzare un programma FTP diverso! oppure prova ad accedere all'FTP direttamente dall'explorer
