Social Plugins are the easiest way to get started with Facebook Platform. The plugins are embeddable social features that can be integrated in your site with a line of HTML. Because they are hosted by Facebook, the plugins are personalized for all users who are currently logged into Facebook, even if they are visiting your site for the first time.
The most important Social Plugin is the Like Button, which enables users to share your page with their friends with one click. You can add a Like button to any page with an iframe tag:

There are a number of options for the Like Button, including the option to include the names and profile pictures of the user's friends who have also liked the page. Here is a Like Button for the Facebook Developers site:
ho copiato il codice html e sul mio sito non compare il bottone bensì questo:

il codice è giusto perkè l'ho scritto il un file block note e salvato in html ed aprendolo mi usciva il bottone!!
ki può darmi una mano?????????????????????? è un problema serio ke riguarda tutti penso perkè anke con altri codici non esce niente!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A parte il fatto che in quel codice manca probabilmente uno slash sul tag </iframe>, se carichi del codice HTML nei tuoi post devi farlo usando l'editor "No editor", altrimenti alcuni tag ritenuti pericolosi (come IFRAME appunto) vengono stralciati.
Dato che probabilmente poi dovrai inserirlo in tutti i post, hai considerato l'idea di installare un plugin di Joomla che faccia tutto il lavoro per te? Prova a farti un giro nella JED: cercando "facebook like" si arriva ad avere ben 136 risultati...
