Problema Vbulletin!!!!!!

Ciao a tutti, ho un problema nell'installazione del vbulletin 3.0.7, l'errore è questo:

Step 2) Connect to the database

Attempting to attach to database


Warning: mysql_errno(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL-Link resource in /membri/pratica02/upload/includes/db_mysql.php on line 140

The database has failed to connect because you do not have permission to connect to the server. Please confirm the values entered in the 'includes/config.php' file.

config.php l'ho configurato così:

$servername = 'altervista.org';

$dbusername = 'pratica02'; <--- quello di altervista
$dbpassword = 'quelladialtervista';

// ****** DATABASE NAME ******
// This is the name of the database where your vBulletin will be located.
// This must be created by your webhost.
$dbname = 'my_pratica02';

e poi il resto l'ho rimasto uguale...

ho un database mysql di classe 2

database server name dovrebbe essere "localhost"
