Non si connette con l'host.

Io devo scaricare degli avatar animati di altervista e spesso sono più pesanti di 500 kb e allora ricorrevo al ftp.
Ora non mi funziona più dicendomi esattamente così :
Host trovato connessione in corso...
Si è verificato un errore ftp impossibile connettersi all'host.

Ma io nelle impostazioni per ftp ho messo :
Ftp.altervista.it[se mettevo .org mi diceva subito impossibile connettersi]
user :irene92.altervista.org
password : ********

Come mai non mi connette più dopo che ho cambiato cartella del mio sito, e nome?

Devi scrivere:
Host: irene92.altervista.org
Login: quello di av
pass: quella di av
porta: 21

ho provato ma mi dice la stessa cosa anche perchè il sito me le chiede già in un'altra parte li mi chiede host ftp e quando avevo xoom mettevo
ftp.xoom.it

no a me dice proprio che non esiste la pagina

Da dove ti stai connettende, da una Lan, da casa, perchè, non vorrei sbagliare, potrebbe essere un problema riguardante le impostazioni della connessione

da casa

vabbe non importa grazie mille lo stesso per avermi aiutato
