aiuto per layout

salve a tutti ho appena creato un sito qui su altervista, volevo mettere un layout ma non so come fare, io ho provato andando sul file: index.html e incollando il codice del layout e ho salvato. poi quando sono andata sul sito invece di venirmi fuori il layout mi viene fuori il codice come mai?

bè dipende da il codice che hai salvato lo potresti postare?

io li scarico ma poi come faccio a metterli su altervista?

o carichi un file una a uno manualmente o usi un FTP (filezilla) per caricare il templates sul tuo sito web molto più velocemente

io non ho filezilla ho provato a mettere un layout ma non me lo fa mi da il codice quando apro la pagina mentre invece se metto un template splinder me lo vede come mai?

aiuto. vorrei sostituire all'immagine di sfondo che c'è nel mio sito con un altra. ho creato questo forum www.harryhermioneron.altervista.org e vedo una cartina di sfondo perché uso lo stile Thor. mi aiutate a mettere un'immagine .gif che ho preso da google immagini?? basterebbe descrivermi i procedimenti grazie mille!!
