About LinkBacksAvevo personalizzato l'errore 404 aggiungendo il file not_found.html, come indicato nelle faq, e funzionava.
Da quando in Joomla ho attivato il mod_rewrite, anzichè andare sulla pagina not_found.html si collega a una pagina del motore di ricerca interno.
Nel .htaccess però non ho trovato riferimenti a questo redirect... Come posso fare per ripristinare la pagina not_found.html come errore 404?

l'errore 404 non viene gestito in joomla dall'htaccess ma dal componente sef.
quale usi?

grazie per la risposta, non ne uso uno specifico in realtà... cioè ho solo cliccato su "sì" ai tre radio button nel pannello di configurazione, a destra dove c'è scritto "Configurazione SEO": non ho installato nessun aggiunta, è il Joomla ufficiale 1.5.8

il codice 404 viene gestito da questa pagina

modifica il file , e inserisci questa redirezione
