vBSEO problema .htaccess

Buona sera, vorrei chiedere come faccio a risolvere questo programma con il file .htaccess , ho installato il vBSEO e ho visto nella pagina sottto del forum che mi appare la scritta SEO by vBSEO 3.6.0
poi ho uppato il file .htaccess nella root che si chiama /forum poi cerco di andare nel sito mio e mi da il seguente programma

La cartella /forum/ non contiene una pagina index.

Devi creare una pagina che si chiami index.html, index.htm oppure index.php (tutto minuscolo).

Attenzione: se hai creato il sito da poco potrebbe essere necessario attendere fino a 24 ore prima che sia visibile.

Come devo risolvere?

Hai provato rinominando/cancellando temporaneamente il file .htaccess? Nel caso in cui funzioni senza .htaccess puoi postarne il contenuto qui?

Scusatemi se uppo una discussione vecchia, in ogni caso sto riscontrando pure io lo stesso problema, solo che mi da errore 500.....non saprei come risovere..
