Installazione "Magento"

ciao a tutti!
sto cercando di installare Magento, ma senza successo.

PEAR ERROR: unknown command `install'

Dovete sapere che sono Molto inesperto:???: : avevo un sito scritto in Html 10 anni fa, e non mi ricordo praticamente nulla.
Ho sentito parlare di questo Magento per la realizzazione di siti di ecommerce e mi è sorta la curiosità..vorrei provarlo per capire esattamente di cosa si tratta!

Quello che ho fatto per installare magento è esattamente :
1-scaricare il downloader.zip
2-unzippare il file
3-inviato con ftp i files sul mio dominio
4-impostato i permessi di accesso su "777"
non ho fatto null'altro, oltre ad andare sul mio sito e premere il tasto "start the download process"

per favore, Qualcuno saprebbe dirmi cosa devo fare?dove sbaglio?
