Trasparenza sfondo

Buongiorno a tutti,
ho preparato un sito con il tema wp twenty-fifteen e sono riuscita più o meno a fare quasi tutto quel che volevo. Mi resta un solo problema insoluto, vorrei modificare lo sfondo dei post(bianco)e farlo con una percentuale di trasparenza, in modo da poter vedere lo sfondo della pagina.
Come posso fare? Considerate che sono neofita e quindi necessito di una spiegazione passo-passo (non vorrei buttare all'aria tutto il lavoro svolto fino a qui)!

No, non ho risolto, avevo trovato la soluzione su un altro tema (suits) ma non riesco a farlo su Twenty-fifteen. Non é un opzione "a portata di mano" su quel tema.
Tu sai come fare?

Di quali posts parli? Perché io a parte le immagini a sfondo bianco vedo solo del testo blu con il background perfettamente visibile.

è un altro sito che sto costruendo (non quello che hai visto tu) che non é ancora online e sto usando appunto il tema twenty-fifteen. Volevo risolvere il problema prima di metterlo online, ma non so come fare.

Prova così. Da Aspetto - Editor modifica il file CSS editando questa parte di codice.

Molto strano. Come puoi vedere da questo screen ho fatto la prova a modificare la trasparenza dei posts direttamente dalla pagina di anteprima del tema e funziona. Non capisco perchè a te non vada.. vediamo se qualcun altro può aiutarti.

magari ho sbagliato qualcosa io, come ti ho già detto sono neofita. Sono andata su Aspetto - Editor ed ho modificato il tema child (che avevo creato) inserendo la stringa di codice che mi hai dato alla fine.
Ho aggiornato e... non é cambiato niente.
Ho, per caso, dimenticato qualche passaggio? O devo modificare il tema originale?

No fai benissimo ad utilizzare un child theme, solo che quella porzione di codice devi modificarla e non inserirla.

volevo postare il print screen del mio child (probabilmente ho sbagliato pure quello), ma non ci riesco.

Pensavo di aver seguito le istruzioni (da un post online) e fosse giusto ma, evidentemente, non ha funzionato.
Infatti qui non c'é proprio niente che io possa correggere.

Ti chiedo scusa, mi sono confusa io, effettivamente quella porzione di codice va inserita nel file CSS del child theme proprio come hai fatto tu. Da quello che vedo però sembra che ti manchi una riga di codice fondamentale, ovvero @import url
L'hai omessa apposta oppure ti sei dimenticato di inserirla?

Io avevo fatto un copia/incolla delle istruzioni e mi sa che ho dimenticato qualcosa.... Mi diresti esattamente dove e cosa inserire per favore?

Di nulla, anzi mi scuso per essermi confusa prima. Comunque se non l'hai ancora fatto devi inserire questa riga di codice subito dopo quello che hai già messo nel file.

@import url("../nomeCartellaTemaGenitore/style.css");

Lascia tutto come sta e semplicemente scrivi il nome della cartella del tema genitore al posto di quello che ho scritto io. In teoria dovrebbe venirti fuori una cosa del genere.

Avevo fatto così e non era cambiato niente, allora ho provato con quella che ti ho postato...
adesso ho rimesso come hai detto tu... é sempre uguale, nessuna trasparenza :cry:

Il sito lo stai costruendo in locale vero? In questo caso arrivati a questo punto ti consiglierei di andare su Aspetto - CSS personalizzato e inserire qui la regola di stile.
