Problema .htaccess con il rewrite engine.

Da poco ho acquistato su codecanyon lo script

Dopo aver eseguito tutti i passaggi e carico il db mi da un errore 500:

Sarà per colpa del .htaccess?

La sezione admin dello script funziona perfettamente, solo gli articoli dei programmi non apre.

Probabilmente si, posta il file .htaccess forse contiene qualche istruzione che non è supportata o consentita su altervista.
In ogni caso, chi ha realizzato lo script può offirti supporto? Prova a chiedere.

Ormai non sta appresso allo script da molto tempo e siccome è un problema di hosting non saprebbe che fare. Comunque l'ho provato a caricare su un altro hosting per prova e funziona (byethost18).

Mi ha risposto che è un problema del host:
Your server must support mod_rewrite commands.

Altervista lo sopporta?

Basta mettere

RewriteBase / sotto la stringa rewrite on
