Valore random da DB MySQL

Ciao a tutti,

C'e' un modo per estrarre da un DB MySQL un valore random?

In particolare, un ID. Se ogni record e' contrassegnato da un ID con auto_increment, posso, per esempio, raccogliere tutti gli ID in un array e poi selezionarne uno random
cosi'?

come faccio in modo che $id contenga un array con tutti gli ID del DB?
