[PHP] Funzione inesistente?

Buongiorno a tutti, sto cercando di creare una pagina web nel mio blog che inserisca automaticamente dei contenuti in wordpress solo che per raggiungere questo scopo ho bisogno della funzione xmlrpc_encode_request(); che, a quanto sembra, non è definita e quando provo ad usarla mi restituisce questo errore:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function xmlrpc_encode_request() in /membri/<nomesito>/<nomefile>.php on line 16
