Ho appena installato Fedora Core 4 sul mio pc ma non mi funziona nè la scheda audio (Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS nè la scheda di rete PCI Wireless; ho provato con ndiswrapper ma, una volta installato, se faccio in shell: ndiswrapper -i non mi funziona; mi dice: "Command not found"
che devo fare? vi prego aiutatemi!
per l'audio, vai su kcontrol, impostra come hardware del suono ALSA.
poi installa il pacchetto alsa-utils, e da root dai il comando alsaconf, segui le istruzioni ed è fatta. Per la scheda non so aiutarti, mi disp.

vai su kcontrol, suono e multimedia, sistema sonoro, in alto cerca hardware, poi ti dice: seleziona dispositivo sonoro.. hai messo ALSA (architettura sonora linux avanzata?)?

forze ho avuto un'intuizione.. prova a dare da shell il comando kmix, ti comparirà un autoparlante tra le applicazioni in esecuzione (in basso a destra). Cliccaci col destro e poi togli il muto. Poi clicca su mostra tutti i mixer e alzali tutti.
Ora dovrebbe andare...
Poi per alzare o abbassare il volume è sufficente che clicchi sull'autoparlante col sinistro e alzi la barretta.

:( il fatto che non mi spiego è come faccia a darti command not found alsaconf.. prova alsaconfig o simili, perchè con il pacchetto alsa-utils ci deve essere.. al massimo prova a guardare sul sito ufficiale della tua distro..
