Internal Server Error. Joomla su Altervista usando Virtuemart

Salve...
il mio problema è il seguente:

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

ho joomla installato su altervista, da poco ho caricato su joomla un programma che mi permette di fare e-commers "Virtuemart"...

quando clicco su cassa (ovvero inizio il processo di acquisto degli item) mi compare la scritta Internal Server Error...
Ho provato a contattare info@altervista.org ma nessuna risposta...

Qualcuno saprebbe aiutarmi perfavore?
O quanto meno dirmi a chi posso rivorlgermi?
Io penso sia un problema di host (tipo devo chiedere il permesso ad altervista x vendere sul mio sito)
