    Ciao,
    il problema che ho è il seguente:
    ho aggiunto una linea di codice al file .htaccess che rediretta automaticamente tutte le pagine http a quelle https ovvero
    Redirect permanent / https://domuselettra.altervista.org/
    ma quando apro il sito non riesco a caricarlo perchè mi dà l'errore nel titolo ovvero il server rifiuta la connessione.
    Come posso fare o a risolvere questo problema e accedere al mio sito così..oppure suggeritemi cosa scrivere nell'.htaccess così da avere tutte le pagine redirettate in https e il sito accessibile.
    NB:l'ssl è abilitato

    Non puoi usare il protocollo https con quel dominio, è possibile la connessione sicura solo con i domini del tipo *.ssl.altervista.org.

    avevo provato anche a scrivere Redirect permanent / https://domuselettra.ssl.altervista.org/
    stessa cosa

    Mi sembra ovvio che si crei un circolo vizioso: anche caricando l'indirizzo con protocollo https il medesimo file htaccess viene processato e la medesima regola Redirect reindirizza il browser allo stesso indirizzo. Quest'ultimo non essendo poi così stupido ti avverte che il server lo sta prendendo in giro.
    Dovresti con il modulo Rewrite provare ad identificare se la richiesta corrente è eseguita mediante connessione protetta o meno, e reagire di conseguenza con il redirezionamento. Non conosco però se l'implementazione di AlterVista del servizio lo permetta.
