[PhpBB3] How to recovery an hacked forum?

Hi there,
First of all, I apologize for not speaking Italian.
Here is my problem: I am a global moderator on a forum that was hosted on altervista ( http://mdmwii.altervista.org/ ), but it seems like it has recently been hacked. The webmaster (mdmwii) literally disappeared from the internet since August.
So, I'd like to know if you could repair the site.

In my signature, we can see 'Also known as linkleguerier' which is part of the email adress I used to register here and on mdmwii's. http://webcache.googleusercontent.co...&client=ubuntu

Only webmaster (with ftp access) can work to recovery this forum.
Maybe you can try to contact him and require data login otherwise you can open a new forum and migrate (if you can contact all / most users) entire community.

The webmaster (mdmwii) didn't connect since August, so I'd better pick the second option.

Sorry for the double post, but, would it be possible to get a dump of the MySQL Database, so our the whole work posted on the forum won't be useless. (Especially threads posted in the secret labs, which can't be seen from google cache).

@Xer: I'm really sorry but i think, for security reason, only webmaster (with controlpanel/phpmyadmin rights) can dump sql database from his website.
