    Exclamation Elgg Installazione

    Ciao a tutti volevo chiedere alcune informazioni su elgg 0.9:

    1) ho installato su host altervista elgg 0.9, è andato tutto a buon fine, non capisco però perchè quando si iscrive un nuovo utente il sistema tenta di mandare la mail di autentificazione all nuovo utente ma non riesce. Compare questo messaggio: "ERROR: Could not instantiate mail function." Qualcuno sa spiegarmi come risolvere?

    2) Qualcuno sa dirmi dove trovare un pacchetto di traduzione integrale in lingua italiana per elgg 0.9 e dove scaricare diversi temi?

    Fatemi sapere. Grazie anticipatamente.

    Che errore ti da esattamente?

    Requirements check

    Your server failed the requirements check. After you have fixed the below issues, refresh this page. Check the troubleshooting links at the bottom of this page if you need further assistance.

    PHP
    The open_basedir PHP directive may prevent Elgg from saving files to its data directory.

    Web server
    We think your server is running the Apache web server.

    The rewrite test failed and the most likely cause is that AllowOverride is not set to All for Elgg's directory. This prevents Apache from processing the .htaccess file which contains the rewrite rules.

    A less likely cause is Apache is configured with an alias for your Elgg directory and you need to set the RewriteBase in your .htaccess. There are further instructions in the .htaccess file in your Elgg directory.
    Database
    The database requirements are checked when Elgg loads its database.
    poi mi hanno detto k devo scrivere qualche cos nel file htaccess. rewrite

    il link x la mia pagina e´ http://incontritalia.altervista.org/...p=requirements

    questo invece e´il interno del file .htacess

    # Elgg htaccess directives

    <Files "htaccess_dist">
    order allow,deny
    deny from all
    </Files>

    # Don't allow listing directories
    Options -Indexes

    # Follow symbolic links
    Options +FollowSymLinks

    # Default handler
    DirectoryIndex index.php
